Tango I:
For those who are just beginning or are still new to the Tango. No previous experience required. We recommend that you come with a partner or a friend to get the most benefit from the class.

Tango II:
For those students who are in an intermediate to advanced level prepared to work on technique, learn new resources and combinations, develop the possibility to dance different styles, improvise and create their own steps. The student at this level should feel comfortable with the fundamentals of Tango, feel that they can dance on a milonga floor utilizing their knowledge, and be interested in moving forward by studying the principle concepts in greater detail. These classes are not about learning a sequence, but rather, about learning the technique and mechanics behind a sequence and how it works. We give you the tools to understand sequences and to then adapt these ideas in ways that work for your style and your interest.

Milonga:
This includes Milonga Lisa and Milonga with traspie. According to the level of the students and the amount of time they have been dancing, we divide the group into two, if necessary, for maximum benefit to everyone involved. This is a time to learn more about the milonga music, recognizing the rhythm and different ways to play with your musicality.

New Tango:
This class requires that the students already be familiar and comfortable with at least the traditional Salon style of Tango. We will work with the principles of technique and new ideas rooted in the principles of the New Tango style, including: Colgadas, volcadas, special boleos, atypical ganchos, changes of direction, atypical sacadas, soltadas, barridas aéreas, piernazos, montadas, and etc.
