Tango Shows- We have a Tango show designed which can be adapted and fitted to your particular needs for any kind of event that you may be planning. The show can be anywhere from 15 to 90 minutes in duration, with a varying structure depending on the length and number of performers. This show includes original choreographies of Argentine Tango interpreted by excellent and professional couples. The show uses a selection of the best Tangos, milongas and valses from different time periods, which can be performed by a traditional live orchestra, or reproduced with recordings from some of the more important orchestras in the history of the tango. While maintaining the spirit of the traditional Tango, we also incorporate choreographic elements and ideas from the New Tango style. Some examples of possible show structures: a) b) c) d)
Conditions for the shows: - Wood floor or appropriate stage floor agreed upon before the show - Minimum size of 15 x 20 feet - Changing room near the stage - $40 per Diem per dancer - Accommodations at 3+ star hotel - 2hs minimum rehearsal time at the venue - Water, fruit and snacks during rehearsal time and performance - Professional sound system and appropriate technician if necessary, for the musicians or for the recordings - Lighting according to the specific desired effect - Depending on the chosen orchestra, it may be necessary to have a piano (not electrical keyboard) rented for the show Information and Contact: humbertohoy@yahoo.com.ar |
